Where do we go from here?

Community sports:

The New Jersey Concussion Law mandates that any organized sports group using a school district’s sports fields must sign a statement of compliance with the school district’s Concussion Policy. Community coaches and officials need up-to-date information about how to manage concussion in community sports events. The Alliance is offering free workshops and webinars on concussion to the general public and will promote this opportunity through Municipal Recreation Departments.

Raising awareness about concussion in
the community:

Elementary school professionals, community leaders, and the general public need information about the new understanding of concussion identification and management. The Alliance’s Concussion Committee is working on new materials aimed at addressing the needs of various groups in the community.
